29 November - Day in History of India and Importance

1948 - Constituent Assembly bans discrimination against untouchables.
1961 - Yuri Gegarin of USSR who walked in the space came to India.
1962 - Haryana achieved the target of supplying electricity to 100% of the villages.
1989 - Rajiv Gandhi Resigned as Prime Minister of India, as his party did not win enough seats to form the Government.
1991 - Test cricket debut of Javagal Srinath
2000 - India signed as counter trade oil agreement with Iraq.


1945 - Basori Singh Masram - 2009 Lok Sabha Member -   INC
1953 - Bahuriya Ramswarup Devi, known as Lakshmibai of Bihar passed away. She led Chapra District Revolt.
